MARINA ATRA

  • São Paulo, Brazil
Marina Atra (São Paulo, 1982). Brazilian artist of vibrant contrasts, she works with various media, including light painting, installation, and performance, creating a popular plastic work, not without sophistication. Graduated in visual communication and specialized in lighting design, her researches go through the chromatic universe, both in light and pigment, where the saturation of colors and shapes appears as the main element. Through an essentially biographical and authorial work, she translates her thoughts into images, in a true visual orchestra of movement and (un)order, where everything seems to be complementary. The duality between madness and the sacred guides his searches and artistic expression.
