Taryn Cassella was born on November 19th, 1989 in Elkhart, Indiana. She studied painting at the Herron School of Art and Design in Indianapolis, Indiana and received her BFA in May 2013. After graduating, Taryn traveled abroad for art residencies in Reykjavik and Berlin. She currently lives in Indianapolis and works in a shared studio with fellow artist Anna Martinez under the name “Copy Culture.”
